I absolutely adore Wicked! It was the first show I ever saw and even as my love for other Broadway shows grow I will always fall back on Wicked. My room is themed off the Album artwork. I don't post very often on this blog, however I do intend getting back into it. Just look at me, I'm limited.
Top 5 Soul Animals (#2) Elphaba Thropp
Oh where do I begin? She doesn’t look the norm (obviously) and nor do I. I’m pale, and live in Florida. I’m taunted almost every day about it. She knows exactly what she wants in life and doesn’t give a damn about what others think about it. She just wants it. Yet deep down, I think she wants to be accepted, but knows she can’t. Her turning point at Defying Gravity, like I said, last year everyone turned on me because of what they thought I was, and I decided, it doesn’t matter what they think, I know the truth, I’m going to continue striving for my dreams. Fuck the rest. In G(a)linda she finds a friend, and I had little to no true friends. I had one who I really felt like I could talk to, and they’d actually not judge me and know what’s actually going on in my life.

Day 21 – A song that you listen to when you’re happy
Yet another Idina Song. This from Wicked. I also like the Glee Version but I think for this song I had to go back to the original. I LOVE Idina Menzel, I am a card holding member of her fan club. I saw this play the summer before starting college and I still hold it as one of my life changing moments. This play changed my life and this song still lives on as one of the songs that will always make me happy.
